This small car has been very popular in India for its tough body, easy city driving, and good value. After many test sightings on roads, the new version shows fresh changes to its look and added tech to stay at the top of its class.

The front of the car now has a smaller grille, thin LED lights stacked one above the other like in the Punch EV model, and bright daytime running lights linked by dark trim. A wider air opening and a big fake silver plate under it make the face look stronger and ready for rough paths.

The sides come with new 16-inch wheel designs that look sporty, and the back has joined taillights with a dark smoke style from the Altroz car, plus a changed rear door and a cool new blue color choice.

The inside gets simple updates like a bigger screen for music and maps that stands alone, sharp new screen pictures, and a full digital meter for the driver. Seats up front can cool you down, there's a sunroof that opens with a button, air cooling that works on its own with touch controls, a driver seat that goes up and down, and phone links without wires for Android and Apple systems. A camera at the front suggests a full-around view to help park in small spaces.

For safety, it now offers six air bags for all, a system to stop slips on turns, help to hold on hills, alerts for low tyre air, and maybe smart aids like speed matching or lane staying—the first time in a small car like this. These make it safer for families on crowded roads.

The engine stays the same 1.2-litre petrol type with three small parts inside, giving 88 power units and 115 twist force, working with a five-gear stick shift or auto option for easy driving.

The gas version with two gas tanks keeps going too, at 73.5 power units and 103 twist on gas, great for saving money on fuel. Some hints point to a faster turbo petrol with more pull and six gears, but full facts come at the show time.

The price will likely begin near Rs 6 lakh before extras, up to Rs 10 lakh for the top one, so it stays cheap but full of extras. It takes on cars like Hyundai Exter from Rs 5.49 lakh, Citroen C3, Maruti Ignis, Nissan Magnite, and more in the short SUV group. Tata plans a fresh Punch EV soon, showing they like this small winner a lot.
