Samsung has released a new portable projector named Freestyle+. The company announced it worldwide on January 2, 2026.
This launch happened just before CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The Freestyle+ uses the same basic shape as the first Freestyle but adds better light output and smart AI features. These changes let people watch videos, play games, or stream shows in many different places with little effort.
The main new part is AI OptiScreen. This tool fixes the screen picture by itself when you point the projector at a spot. It has 3D Auto Keystone to make straight lines even on bumpy spots like wall corners, curtains, or slanted areas.
Real-time Focus keeps the picture clear if you move or turn the projector. Screen Fit changes the size to fit a special screen if you use one. Wall Calibration looks at the wall's color or design and removes things that distract from the view.

Vision AI Companion helps too. It is Samsung's AI system for screens. It improves the Bixby voice helper and adds AI from other companies. This makes talking to the screen feel natural while you use it.
Hun Lee leads Samsung's Visual Display Business as Executive Vice President. He said the Freestyle+ fits how people live and move in their daily lives. The AI changes the screen and the content to give good quality anywhere.
The Freestyle+ is small and round, so it is light to carry between rooms or on trips. It gives 430 ISO Lumens of brightness. That is almost two times more than the old model. This makes shows look bright and clear in everyday rooms with some lights on. You can turn it 180 degrees to show on walls, floors, or ceilings. No extra holders are needed.

For watching away from home, it has Samsung TV Plus built in. It also works with approved streaming apps and Samsung Gaming Hub. You do not need other devices to start. The sound comes from a 360-degree speaker inside. It makes full, strong audio from the small size. Q-Symphony lets it join with Samsung soundbars that match. This creates better sound that works together in any spot.
Samsung will show the Freestyle+ at CES 2026. The event runs from January 6 to 9 in Las Vegas. Sales will start in many countries during the first half of 2026.
