Realme 16 Pro Launches Jan 6: 200MP Camera, 7000mAh Battery & Dimensity Power

Realme will launch its new Realme 16 Pro phone in India on January 6, 2026. This phone sits just below the Pro+ model and brings many high-end features at a lower price.

It has a strong 200MP LumaColor camera with Samsung's HP5 sensor. This camera includes Super OIS to keep photos steady and full-pixel auto zoom for clear shots at 1x, 2x, and 4x without losing detail.

The camera has TÜV Rheinland approval for true colors. It uses a HyperRAW system to balance light and dark areas well, which helps a lot in group pictures or low light. The phone takes portraits at five different lengths: 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3.5x, and 4x. These let users shoot full-body, half-body, or close-up photos with good depth and soft backgrounds, just like the Pro+ model.

A new Vibe Master Mode gives 21 preset tones for portraits to match different lights and scenes. AI Edit Genie helps change things like backgrounds or hair while keeping faces looking real. For videos, it records 4K HDR at 1x and 2x zoom. The MainTrack tool follows moving subjects. AI Instant Clip makes fast video templates for travel, parties, or events.

The battery is a big 7000mAh Titan type that lasts a full day even with lots of use. It has Super Power Saving Mode and bypass charging to reduce heat during games or long calls. An AI chip keeps the battery healthy over time. The screen is a 1.5K AMOLED with 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and play. It gets as bright as 6500 nits, so it works well in strong sun.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G chip powers it and scores over 970,000 on AnTuTu tests. AirFlow VC cooling stops it from getting too hot. The software is Realme UI 7.0 based on Android, with Flux Engine for speed. It includes NEXT AI tools like AI Framing Master for better photos, AI Recording, and Google Gemini support.

Realme worked with designer Naoto Fukasawa on the look. It comes in Master Gold, Pebble Grey, or Orchid Purple with a soft back that feels good on skin. The phone has IP69 rating, so it handles dust and water splashes. Price, full specs like 8GB or 12GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage, and sales details will come at the launch. Early tips suggest around ₹30,000 to ₹36,000.
