Oppo Reno 15C Leak: 7,000mAh Beast Joins India Lineup Under ₹40K!

Oppo plans to bring its new Reno 15 series to India soon. The company has already shown previews of three phones: the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini

A leak from tipster Abhishek Yadav on X now points to a fourth phone called Reno 15C joining them. This model could cost less than Rs 40,000, making it easy on the wallet for many buyers.

Oppo launched a phone named Reno 15c in China earlier this month. However, the Indian Reno 15C seems different based on the leak. It may come with a 6.57-inch full-HD LTPS OLED screen. This display offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits brightness in high brightness mode, good for use in sunlight.

The phone could run on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. It might pair this with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This setup should handle daily tasks, apps, and some games without slowing down.

For cameras, expect a triple setup on the back. It includes a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens for wide shots, and a 2-megapixel macro lens for close details. The front has a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, great for selfies and video chats.

The big highlight is the 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. This means long use time, even with heavy tasks, and quick recharges. The phone stays slim at 8.14mm thick and weighs 189 to 195 grams.

The Chinese Reno 15c has a 6.59-inch full-HD AMOLED screen with 120Hz rate and 1,200 nits brightness. It uses a stronger Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. Its rear cameras are 50-megapixel main with OIS, 50-megapixel telephoto with OIS, and 8-megapixel ultrawide. The front camera is also 50-megapixel. It has a 6,500mAh battery with 80W charging.

These spec changes show the Indian version focuses more on battery life than high power. Oppo has confirmed the Reno 15 series for India, so an official launch may happen soon, perhaps early next year. Leaks like this need official word to confirm.
