Oppo A6 Max Unveiled With Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and IP69 Rating

Oppo has launched a new phone in China called the Oppo A6 Max. This is the latest model in the company’s A‑series lineup and its biggest feature is a massive 7,000mAh battery. The phone is also built to be extra durable, with official ratings that make it resistant to water, dust, and even tougher conditions than most mid‑range smartphones.

Along with this, it comes with a large OLED screen, fast charging support, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor.

The Oppo A6 Max is priced at CNY 1,599 in China, which converts to approximately ₹23,500 in India. Right now, it is available through Kuaishou, but Oppo has not yet listed it on its official website or Weibo account. Outside China, the phone has already been spotted on a Bangladeshi website with a "Coming Soon" tag. Buyers will get two color choices, Blue and White.

The phone comes with a 6.8‑inch OLED display offering a resolution of 1,280 × 2,800 pixels. It offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, making it quite bright for outdoor use. The screen is protected by Crystal Shield Glass to prevent scratches. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which should be enough for most users.

For photography, Oppo has fitted the phone with a dual rear camera setup. The main camera is 50 megapixels, while the second one is 2 megapixels.

For selfies and video calls, it uses a 32‑megapixel front camera. Oppo has also added a large vapour chamber measuring 5,200 square millimeters to help keep the phone cool during heavy use.

The device stands out for its massive 7,000mAh battery. Despite this big capacity, the phone is still slim at just 7.7mm and weighs only 198 grams. It supports 80W wired fast charging, which should top up the battery quickly.

The A6 Max also has strong protection with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, meaning it can handle dust, splashes, and even tougher water conditions than many other mid‑range phones. It has also been certified for safe operation at high temperatures.

Connectivity options include NFC, dual‑band GPS, and Beidou support. The device runs on Android out of the box, though Oppo has not specified the exact version at launch.

With a large battery, durable design, fast charging, and modern performance hardware, the Oppo A6 Max may attract buyers looking for a phone that can last long and take everyday challenges easily.
