OnePlus 15 Leak Hints at 120W Fast Charging, Bigger Battery and Snapdragon 8 Elite 2

The OnePlus 15 is getting closer to launch, and a new report says it has already been listed on a certification website. The listing has given out an important detail. It shows that the phone could come with 120W wired fast charging. This would be a clear upgrade from the OnePlus 13, which only allowed 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

This listing was spotted with the model number CPH2747 on the IECEE website. It was seen alongside a 121W charging adapter, which strongly suggests that OnePlus is preparing support for 120W speeds. If true, the charging time could be much faster than before.

Along with faster charging, the OnePlus 15 is said to bring a bigger battery as well. Reports claim that the phone may have a 7,000mAh or even larger battery. By contrast, the OnePlus 13 was equipped with a 6,000mAh battery. If the company really offers this upgrade, users can expect longer battery life as well as faster top‑ups.

The smartphone has likewise been spotted on Geekbench carrying the alternate model number PLK110. That test shows the phone running on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip. The listing describes two high‑performance cores running at 4.61GHz and six power‑efficient cores running at 3.63GHz.

This setup means that the OnePlus 15 should have better power and efficiency compared to the OnePlus 13, which came with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. That older model also had an Adreno 830 GPU, up to 24GB RAM, and as much as 1TB storage.

On the camera side, the new phone is expected to keep a triple rear setup with three 50‑megapixel sensors. However, there could be a big shift in how OnePlus handles its camera software. Rather than continuing its Hasselblad collaboration, the OnePlus 15 is rumored to feature the brand’s in-house image processing engine for the first time.

The design may also change. Leaks suggest that the round camera island seen in older models could be replaced by a square design this year.

OnePlus has not yet confirmed when it will launch the phone. But leaks point to an October 2025 release in China, likely followed by a global rollout. Details such as price and official colours are still not revealed.

In summary, the OnePlus 15 looks to be a significant upgrade. It may bring faster charging, a bigger battery, Qualcomm’s new flagship chip, and a new camera system. As always, the company has not confirmed these details, so we may have to wait until the official launch for the full picture.
