The upcoming OnePlus 15 has been seen on the Geekbench website, giving us the first details about the new flagship phone. The listing shows that the phone will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip, with Android 16 and up to 16GB RAM. This matches earlier leaks that also said the next OnePlus phone will use Qualcomm’s newest processor.
The phone showed up on Geekbench with the model number PLK110, carrying an octa-core chip that includes two high-power cores at 4.61GHz and six power-saving cores at 3.63GHz. The tested model had 16GB RAM. In benchmark results, it scored 639 in single-core and 1,871 in multi-core tests. These numbers are not very high compared to other top phones, but since this is still a testing model, the final version should perform better.
A different version with the model number PLC110 was also seen on Geekbench. This one had 12GB RAM and the same Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip, but the speed was slightly lower at 3.53GHz. Surprisingly, this version gave better results, with 1,818 single-core and 6,356 multi-core scores. Some reports say this could be the Chinese version of the phone.
Leaks also suggest possible features of the OnePlus 15. It may launch running Android 16 along with OxygenOS. The phone may come with 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB storage using UFS 4.0 technology. For cameras, it may have a triple rear setup with a 50MP main sensor. The design could also change this year OnePlus may replace its usual circular camera layout with a square or rectangular camera frame.
Battery and charging details are not confirmed yet, but fast wired and wireless charging are expected, like other premium OnePlus phones.
Reports say the OnePlus 15 will first launch in China in October 2025, and then roll out globally soon after. The company has not officially confirmed the details yet, and full specifications will be revealed at the launch event.
The OnePlus 15 will take over from the OnePlus 13, which had the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, up to 24GB RAM, and 1TB storage. With the new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip, Android 16, and a new design, the OnePlus 15 is expected to compete with other big phones of 2025, such as Samsung Galaxy S25 series, iQOO’s new large-battery models, and Realme’s latest flagships.
For now, the Geekbench results confirm that the OnePlus 15 is under testing and will feature Qualcomm’s most advanced processor. Even though the early scores are not very high, the final performance should be much better. With a new camera design, strong hardware, and the latest software, the OnePlus 15 looks like one of the most awaited phones of 2025.
