Samsung is getting ready to launch its new tablet, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, and just days before the event, the device has appeared on the Geekbench website. The listing gives us a clear idea of what the tablet will offer in terms of performance and features. The official launch is set to happen at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on September 4, 2025.
The tablet has been listed with the model number SM-X936B on Geekbench. It scored 2,474 points in single-core tests and 8,721 points in multi-core tests. This shows that the device will be very powerful and fast. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is expected to ship with Android 16, layered with Samsung’s latest One UI 8 interface. The listing also confirms 12GB of RAM (with 10.99GB usable).
Samsung has chosen to power the device with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, which is paired with the Mali-G925 GPU. This is one of the top chipsets right now and it focuses on both high performance and better power use. With such hardware, the tablet will be able to handle heavy tasks, gaming, and multitasking easily.
The upcoming tablet is rumored to pack a massive 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display offering 2960 by 1848 pixel clarity. This means very sharp and bright visuals, which makes the tablet good for entertainment and also for professional use. Reports also suggest it will support the S Pen stylus and will come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Leaks suggest the tablet will include a 13MP main rear camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide shooter for capturing photos and videos. On the front, Samsung may add two 12-megapixel cameras, which will help with selfies and high-quality video calls. The dual front cameras will also improve face tracking during conferencing.
Another highlight is the huge 11,600mAh battery that will support 45W fast charging. This means users can expect long battery life for work, study, or entertainment, and the large battery can be charged quickly too.
The device is also expected to start with 256GB of storage, and more storage options could be available at launch. Out of the box, it will run on Android 16, which will bring the latest features, enhanced security, and a smooth user experience.
The launch of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra comes at a time when the tablet market in India has fallen by 32 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2025, as reported by IDC. However, Samsung remains the leading brand in this segment despite the drop. With the Tab S11 lineup, Samsung is likely aiming to enhance its share and visibility in the tablet space.
The company has confirmed September 4 as the date for its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Besides the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, the company is also expected to announce the regular Galaxy Tab S11 model and the upcoming Galaxy S25 FE smartphone.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra looks set to become Samsung’s most powerful and advanced tablet yet. With its strong processor, massive battery, large AMOLED display, and camera upgrades, it could become one of the best choices for those who want a premium Android tablet in 2025. More details on price and availability will be officially shared during the event.
