Samsung has added a new phone to its affordable Galaxy A series lineup. The company has launched the Galaxy A07 4G in Indonesia, aiming at people who want a budget-friendly smartphone with long-term support and useful features.
The phone offers a big display, strong battery life, and a promising six years of software and security updates, which is rare in this price category.
Buyers can choose the Galaxy A07 4G in Black, Green, or Light Violet shades. In Indonesia, prices begin at IDR 13,99,000 (around ₹7,500) for the version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. In Indonesia, the 4GB + 128GB model is available for IDR 16,49,000, or about ₹8,900.
The 6GB + 128GB option costs IDR 19,49,000 (about ₹10,500), while the top model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is listed at IDR 22,99,000 (roughly ₹12,400). At present, Samsung has launched only the 4G version, and there is no confirmation about a 5G model yet.
Buyers of the phone can also enjoy launch offers worth nearly ₹3,900. These include a 25W fast charger, a 36GB XL data pack, and 30 percent off Samsung Care+ protection plans valid for one or two years.
Talking about the specifications, the Galaxy A07 4G comes with a 6.7‑inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The design includes a small U-shaped notch at the top for the selfie camera. Inside, it runs on the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB storage. Storage can also be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.
On the software side, the device ships with Android 15 along with Samsung’s latest One UI 7 interface. The phone’s biggest advantage is Samsung’s promise of six years of Android version upgrades and security updates, giving users long-term support that is highly uncommon in the budget range.
For photography, the Galaxy A07 4G features a dual rear camera setup with a 50‑megapixel main sensor and a 2‑megapixel secondary lens. On the front, the phone carries an 8‑megapixel camera, which can be used for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging. The phone includes a fingerprint sensor on the side for security. The phone is also IP54 certified, which makes it resistant to dust and minor splashes of water. It weighs 184 grams and has dimensions of 164.4 x 77.4 x 7.6mm.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi‑Fi, GPS, a USB Type‑C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
With its long-lasting battery, high‑resolution main camera, and guaranteed six years of software support, the Galaxy A07 4G stands out among budget smartphones. The only missing piece is 5G support, which may be a drawback for some buyers in markets where 5G networks are becoming more common.
Still, for people looking to buy a smartphone under ₹13,000 with solid features, the Galaxy A07 4G is shaping up to be a strong option in Samsung’s 2025 lineup.
