Oppo Reno 15 Series Tipped to Launch With Three Models, Bigger Batteries and Camera Upgrades

Oppo is working on its next Reno smartphone series. The new lineup, called the Oppo Reno 15 series, is now being tested. It will replace the Reno 14 series that was launched earlier this year. The Reno 15 phones are expected to launch in the second half of 2025, with China likely to get them first around November.

This time, Oppo is planning to bring three models instead of two. A well-known tipster from China has shared details that the Reno 15 series will come in three different sizes. The smallest model will have a 6.3‑inch screen and is described as a compact option.

The Pro version is expected to feature a screen size of 6.78 inches, which may also be rounded up to 6.8 inches. Along with these, Oppo has also added another version in the middle with a 6.59‑inch display. At first, Oppo had only planned the compact and Pro phones, but later they decided to add the third option as well.

The Reno 15 series is expected to bring better cameras compared with the Reno 14 lineup. The phones could improve colour quality in photos and videos, making pictures look more real and bright. Bigger batteries are also being talked about, which means the new devices might last longer on a single charge compared to the current Reno 14 models.

The Reno 14 series, which came out earlier in 2025, had two phones. The Oppo Reno 14 5G featured a 6.59‑inch OLED screen, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip, with three rear cameras (50MP + 8MP + 50MP) and a 6,000mAh battery. It ran on Android 15. The Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G offered a larger 6.83‑inch display, a faster Dimensity 8450 chip, three 50MP rear cameras, and a slightly bigger 6,200mAh battery, also with Android 15. In India, the Reno 14 was priced at around ₹37,499, while the Pro model came in at about ₹49,998.

Apart from the Reno 15 series, Oppo is also preparing other phones. The company plans to launch the Oppo F31 series in India in September 2025. Reports say that the top model of this series may come with a very large 7,000mAh battery, which would be one of the biggest in smartphones right now. Earlier this month, Oppo introduced the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro in India. These phones are designed for gamers and feature built-in cooling fans and the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor.

So far, Oppo has not shared an official launch date for the Reno 15 series. But leaks suggest that the phones could first arrive in China later this year, followed by other countries in early 2026. The price is not known yet, but looking at the company’s trend, the Reno 15 models are likely to sit in the same mid-premium range as the Reno 14 phones.

In short, the Oppo Reno 15 series is expected to offer three choices in size, better cameras, and bigger batteries. If the reports turn out true, Oppo will be trying to give users more options and better performance compared with its earlier Reno generation.
