Hisense has introduced its latest UX ULED RGB-MiniLED TV series in India, which comes in massive 100-inch and 116-inch screen sizes. These TVs are made for people who want a cinema-like experience at home and are packed with the latest technology in display, sound, and artificial intelligence.
The new TVs use RGB Mini-LED technology, which is different from regular LED TVs. Instead of using one type of LED light, they use separate red, green, and blue Mini-LEDs. These lights are spread across thousands of zones on the screen to give very bright and accurate colors.
The company says these TVs can reach a peak brightness of 8,000 nits, cover 95 percent of the BT.2020 color range, and reduce the amount of blue light that can cause strain to the eyes. They also support fine control of brightness with 3×26-bit dimming.
In terms of picture quality, the TVs support formats like Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced, which help show movies and other content in great detail. There is also MEMC technology, which makes fast-moving scenes smoother.
For gaming fans, Hisense has added a special 165Hz Game Mode Ultra with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, so games run without lag or screen tearing. A dedicated Game Bar lets users see performance and adjust settings while playing.
The TVs are powered by the Hi-View AI Engine X, which uses artificial intelligence to automatically manage picture quality, sound, and power use. Along with this, the TVs also use the H7 picture engine with a 2-TOPS NPU processor, which helps manage the lighting and the LCD panel together to show very accurate colors.
Sound has been given equal importance. The series comes with a 6.2.2 channel CineStage X Surround sound system designed with the help of Devialet, a company known for high-end audio products. The system has top-firing speakers and a built-in subwoofer to create a surround sound effect similar to a theater.
The TVs also support WiSA SoundSend and eARC connectivity, which makes it easy to connect wireless speakers while keeping sound quality high.
The TVs use VIDAA Smart OS, which supports 28 languages, including Hindi. Hisense has promised that these TVs will receive updates for the next eight years, which is a big commitment compared to most TVs. The remote control is also special, as it is solar-powered and can also be charged using a USB-C cable, making it more eco-friendly.
In India, the Hisense UX ULED RGB-MiniLED TVs are priced from ₹9,99,999 to ₹29,99,999. They will be available through Amazon, Flipkart, and selected offline stores. The company has not yet announced the exact sales date, but the products are expected to first reach customers in big cities.
With this launch, Hisense is going up against other premium TV brands like Samsung’s Neo QLED series and LG’s OLED TVs. The company is hoping that features like extremely high brightness, accurate color, powerful AI picture processing, and rich surround sound will make these TVs stand out in the ultra-premium segment.
