Prabhas's new horror comedy movie The Raja Saab kicked off with a big bang at the box office. On its first day, it made about Rs 45 crore as net collection in India from all languages put together.
This number jumps to Rs 54.15 crore worldwide when you add the Rs 9.15 crore that came from special paid preview shows held on Thursday.
The movie did super well in Telugu-speaking areas like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. There, people filled up theaters to 57.16 percent on average for the whole day. Morning shows got 50.92 percent full, afternoon ones hit 50.82 percent, evening jumped to 57.70 percent, and night shows were the best at 69.20 percent occupancy.
In Hindi belt areas, the turnout stayed okay at 15.63 percent overall. Early morning shows had only 7.47 percent people, but it got better with time, reaching 21.34 percent for night screenings. Tamil version also pulled decent crowds with 22.61 percent average occupancy, and night shows went close to 28 percent.
Special Telugu shows in Dolby Cinema screens saw 24.93 percent attendance across the day. Footfalls kept growing from morning to night in most places, which shows fans got more excited as the day passed. These early numbers come from sites like Sacnilk and mix info from different sources, so they count as estimates.
Maruthi directed this fun scary film where Prabhas plays a cool, flashy character full of style and easy charm. Other big stars join him like Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Boman Irani, Riddhi Kumar, and Zarina Wahab. Critics say Prabhas shines with his timing and presence, which pulls fans in, but some story parts drag because they focus too much on hero moments instead of fast action.
Even with okay reviews that mix good and not-so-good points, the movie grabbed a solid start thanks to Prabhas's huge fan base. It beat out some other films running at the same time and set a strong tone for Telugu cinema in early 2026. Numbers may shift a bit as official reports come in later.
