Kia India will show the new 2026 Seltos tomorrow on January 3. This compact SUV will change the market with fresh updates. The price starts at Rs 10.99 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 19.99 lakh.
It is the second generation of the model. It has the same petrol and diesel engines as before. But now it has sharper looks, more tech inside, and better safety. It competes with cars like Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, and Maruti Grand Vitara. If you want to book one, here is what makes it special.
The outside of the 2026 Seltos looks totally new and bold. The front has a bigger grille that connects smoothly to square LED headlights. There are tall vertical LED daytime running lights too. This follows Kia's newest design style.
The bumper has a larger air intake and skid plates in satin-silver or dark gunmetal colors. The color depends on the version you pick. From the side, it looks taller and stronger. It has big wheel arches, flush door handles for a smooth premium look, and alloy wheels up to 18 inches big.

At the back, new connected LED tail lamps stretch across wide. This gives the SUV a strong and tough look. The bumper is redesigned to look clean and nice. The roof spoiler and shark fin antenna stay the same. All these changes make the Seltos feel new and ready to compete. It still works well for families.
Inside the cabin, the dashboard is smart and layered. It is much better than the old one. It uses a triple-screen setup from the Kia Seltos. There are two 12.3-inch screens. One is for infotainment and the other for the digital driver display.
This creates a high-tech feel. The steering wheel is thick and flat-bottom with many controls and toggle switches. It feels sporty. Slim AC vents hide under the dash for a clean look. Kia kept real buttons for climate control. You can change settings easily while driving.
The inside gets better with a 64-color lighting strip all around. It is great for night drives. Rear seats now have more legroom and space. Three adults can sit comfortably back there. Different versions have special finishes that mix comfort and style well.
The 2026 Seltos has many features for everyday use. You get a driver's seat that adjusts in 10 ways with memory function. There is an 8-speaker Bose sound system, dual-zone automatic AC, and ventilated front seats.
Other items include a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and connected car technology. Safety is strong with six airbags in all versions, parking sensors everywhere, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and ISOFIX points for child seats. Higher versions add a dashcam, 360-degree camera, and full Level-2 ADAS system for extra safety.
The engines are the same reliable ones from the old Seltos. The 1.5-litre normal petrol engine gives 115 PS power and 144 Nm torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox. The stronger 1.5-litre turbo-petrol makes 160 PS and 253 Nm. It pairs with 6-speed iMT or 7-speed DCT. Diesel lovers get a 1.5-litre engine with 116 PS and 250 Nm. It has 6-speed manual or automatic options. These engines work well for city driving, highways, or long trips.
The price starts at Rs 10.99 lakh introductory, now set at that base price. It fits against competitors like Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, and Mahindra models. Deliveries will begin soon. There are special New Year deals available. This updated SUV offers good style, tech, and value.
