The phone is the global Redmi 15C model that Xiaomi already lists on its site, so many hardware details are known from the global variant. It is built around a large 6.9-inch LCD screen with a high refresh rate (up to 120 Hz) and runs Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS skin. The official product pages also highlight a very large 6,000 mAh battery and support for relatively fast wired charging.

Recent leaks from Indian tipsters and tech sites give a clearer idea of what the India pricing and memory options might be. The reported India prices are about ₹12,499 for the 4GB + 128GB model, ₹13,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, and ₹14,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model though Xiaomi has not officially confirmed final Indian pricing yet. These figures should be treated as leaks until the company announces the official India prices at launch.

Under the hood, the Redmi 15C 5G is expected to use a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset (a power-efficient 6nm 5G chip), paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage on the Indian models according to the leaks. The camera setup on the back is said to include a 50MP main sensor in a dual-camera module, while the front camera is listed around 8MP enough for basic selfies and video calls.

The device looks positioned as a value-focused 5G phone: it offers very long battery life thanks to the 6,000 mAh cell, a very large screen for media use, and multiple RAM options to match different budgets. If the price leaks are accurate, the Redmi 15C 5G will compete strongly with other budget 5G phones by offering a bigger battery and a smooth 120 Hz display in this price band.

What to watch before buying: wait for Xiaomi’s full India reveal (design and official specs will be published in the days before launch), check the final Indian price and any launch offers on Amazon or mi.com, and look for details such as the exact refresh rate used in the Indian SKU, charging speed in the box, and whether expandable storage or an IP rating is included.

The company has scheduled several pre-launch reveals (design, battery details and display features) so all final details should be available by the launch date.

In short, Redmi 15C 5G looks like a sensible pick for users who want a very large screen and very long battery life on a budget, and the confirmed India launch on 3 December 2025 will be the moment to judge if the leaked prices and features hold true.
