The new handset runs Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15 and promises three major Android upgrades plus six years of security updates, a rare long-term update promise in this price class.

The Phone 3a Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset and comes with 8GB of RAM and two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. Nothing also supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM expansion and offers microSD expansion up to 2TB, which makes the phone flexible for users who store lots of photos and videos.

The display is a 6.77-inch Full HD+ Flexible AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, very high peak brightness (quoted up to 3,000 nits in HDR), 387 ppi density and very fast PWM dimming.

Photography on the 3a Lite is handled by a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and EIS, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and a small tertiary sensor for macro shots.

The front camera is a 16-megapixel unit for selfies and video calls. Video options include 4K at 30fps and 1080p slow-motion capture at 120fps. These optics aim to give solid everyday results without claiming flagship-level performance.

Battery life is a clear focus: the phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging and even 5W wired reverse charging. Nothing rates the design with Panda Glass on both front and back, an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security. The phone measures 164 × 78 × 8.3 mm and weighs about 199 grams.

Nothing has changed its signature lighting concept for this model to a simplified “Glyph Light” for alerts, instead of the full Glyph Interface used on more premium models. The Phone 3a Lite also includes the company’s Essential Space features and a physical Essential Key for quick notes and idea capture in the software—small touches that try to set it apart in a crowded market.

In India the Phone 3a Lite is priced at ₹20,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and ₹22,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Launch offers from banks like ICICI and OneCard bring effective prices down (for example, ₹19,999 for the base model with offers). Nothing will sell the phone in Black, Blue and White colourways, with the first sale set for December 5, 2025 via Flipkart, Vijay Sales, Croma and leading retail partners.

For buyers weighing options, the Phone 3a Lite targets people who want a large display, long battery life and a clean software experience with long software support, all near the ₹20,000 price band. If camera excellence or the absolute fastest chipset is critical, there are other phones that trade off some battery or software promises for stronger imaging or raw performance, so compare specs and real-world reviews before deciding.
