OpenAI Releases ChatGPT Projects for All Users With New Features

OpenAI has now made the ChatGPT Projects feature open for everyone. Earlier, only paid users could use it.This feature helps people keep their chats in separate folders. Every folder can be used for a separate topic. This makes it easy to manage work and conversations. Users also do not need to repeat the same instructions every time they start a new chat.

Free users can upload up to five files in one project. ChatGPT Plus subscribers can upload 25 files. Pro, Business, and Enterprise users can add up to 40 files. These files stay inside the project, and ChatGPT can use them to give better answers.

OpenAI has also added ways to customize folders. Users can change the folder icon color. There are eight color options, like black, blue, green, orange, pink, purple, and red. Users can pick various icons to represent the topic of each project. This helps users find projects quickly.

Another new tool is memory control. Normally, ChatGPT can use information from one chat in another chat. Now, there is a "Project-only" option. If users choose this, information inside a project will stay private and will not mix with other chats.

Right now, this feature is available on the ChatGPT website and the Android app. iOS users will get it soon. The aim of this update is to make ChatGPT useful for both free and paid users. It helps keep work, files, and instructions in one place and also keeps data safe.

With file uploads, folder customization, and memory control, ChatGPT Projects has now become more helpful for both personal and professional use.
