Adobe just announced a new video editing app called Premiere for iPhone and iPad. This app will be available to download from September 30, 2025. Adobe wants to make editing videos as easy as possible right from your phone. The app is free for anyone to use, and it does not show any ads or put watermarks on the videos you create.
You can use many powerful tools that people usually use on desktop computers, now on your mobile device. If you need extra cloud storage or some special AI features, you can pay for those. But most editing tools are free.
With this Premiere app, users can edit videos with more control. You can cut and trim your videos exactly how you want, even frame by frame. There is a multi-track timeline, so you can work with video clips, sound, and text all at once. If you want to add music, voiceovers, or special effects, you can do that too. The app supports high-quality 4K HDR videos, so your videos can look very sharp and colorful.
Adobe has also added new AI tools inside the app. You can make sound effects by just typing what you want or using your own voice. The app can automatically clean up your voice recordings, making them sound clearer and removing background noise.
You can also create video, image, and audio assets using AI if you have credits for it. If you want to add captions or subtitles, the app can generate them automatically and even style them with nice animations.
One good thing is you can start editing a project on your phone and finish it on your computer using Premiere Pro. The app also gives access to Adobe’s big stock library, so you can use lots of images, music tracks, and stickers for free.
When your video is ready, you can share it on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube with just one tap. The app automatically resizes your video so it fits perfectly on those sites. Adobe is planning to release an Android version soon, but the date is not confirmed yet.
The new Premiere app for iPhone will take the place of the older Premiere Rush app, which will stop getting updates and can no longer be downloaded after September 30, 2025. If you already use Rush, you can keep using it for some time, but Premiere is the new main app for mobile video editing.
