Google has started a new program called Pixel Care+ for people who own Pixel and Fitbit devices in the United States. This program replaces the old Preferred Care and Fi Device Protection plans. It is designed to give users better coverage and easier service for their Google-made devices like Pixel phones, Pixel Watches, tablets, and Fitbit gadgets.
Pixel Care+ lets users submit unlimited claims for accidental damage like drops, cracks, or spills. The best part is that if the screen or battery needs fixing, there will be no extra cost for these repairs. If the battery’s health falls below 80% or the screen is broken, Google will fix it for free with original parts. The program also covers repairs even after the warranty ends, so users get help without having to pay.
People who join Pixel Care+ also get fast support from Pixel experts, who help with problems or questions. Filing a claim is easy users can do it through the Google Store website or the My Pixel app. After filing a claim, they can pick when and where they want to get their device repaired. If a replacement is required, Google provides free next-day delivery for fast service.
Pixel Care+ is currently available exclusively in the United States. Customers can add it within 60 days of buying their device, whether purchased from the Google Store or other stores. They have the option to pay monthly or choose a two-year plan. Prices depend on the device; for example, protection for a Pixel 10 costs about $10 per month or $199 for two years. There is also an option to add loss and theft protection, but this is not available in all states, like New York.
Some of the devices that can join Pixel Care+ include the Pixel 8 series and newer, the Pixel Watch 2 and newer, the Pixel Tablet, and Fitbit models such as Charge 6, Versa 4, and Sense 2. However, Pixel Buds are not included in this plan.
Google is improving how customers take care of their devices with this program. It saves money on repairs and makes the process easy and quick. Current users of the older plans will be moved to Pixel Care+ without extra steps.
While Pixel Care+ is only in the US right now, Google has started offering same-day repair services and doorstep repairs for Pixel users in India, showing its focus on better service globally.
In short, Pixel Care+ offers unlimited repairs for accidents, free screen and battery fixes, extended warranty coverage, real Google parts, expert help, and simple claims online. This new program gives Pixel and Fitbit users peace of mind and better care for their devices. For more details, users can visit the Google Store or use the My Pixel app to sign up and get support.
