Google has launched its new Pixel 10 phones, which are the latest and tenth-generation Pixel models. Google announced the new phones on August 20, 2025, which come in three versions: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. These phones come with many new features like better cameras, faster speed, and clever AI (artificial intelligence) to make the phone more helpful and easy to use.
The design of the Pixel 10 phones has been improved. They still have the well-known camera bar but with a cleaner look. Google has also used more recycled materials in these phones than ever before, making them more eco-friendly. The Pixel 10 has a metal frame with a shiny glass back.
It comes in four colors: Obsidian (black), Frost (white), Indigo (blue), and Lemongrass (light green). The screen on the Pixel 10 is 6.3 inches and very bright, so it’s easy to see even in sunlight. The Pro models come in two sizes, 6.3 inches and 6.8 inches for the Pixel 10 Pro XL, and they have even brighter screens.
Inside, the phones have Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, which is very fast and powerful. This chip works with Google’s new Gemini Nano AI model to help the phone run smart AI features right on the device, without needing the internet all the time. The Pro models have 16GB of RAM, larger batteries, and faster charging options. The Pixel 10 Pro XL offers the fastest wireless charging, with a speed of 25 watts.
Camera improvements are a big highlight. The Pixel 10 has a 5x telephoto lens that lets you zoom in far and still keep pictures sharp. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL take it a step further with "Pro Res Zoom," allowing zoom up to 100 times. This uses AI to keep details clear, not just crop the picture. There is also a new feature called Camera Coach, which gives helpful tips to take better photos by suggesting how to frame or compose shots.
Google has added a smart AI tool called Magic Cue. It works inside apps like Google Messages and the Phone app to offer useful information exactly when you need it. For example, Magic Cue can show your flight details during a call with an airline or help find photos to share with friends, all without interrupting what you are doing. This runs privately on the phone to keep your data safe.
The phones come with the latest Material 3 Expressive user interface, which brings smooth animations and lets you customize your phone more. Google promises to support these phones with updates and security patches for seven years, so they will stay fresh and secure for a long time.
The prices start at $799 for the Pixel 10, $999 for the Pixel 10 Pro, and $1199 for the Pixel 10 Pro XL. You can preorder these phones from August 20, 2025, and they will be available from August 28 in stores and online. Buyers of the Pro models also receive one year of Google AI Pro.
Overall, the Pixel 10 series shows how Google is combining powerful AI technology with great hardware to make phones smarter and easier to use. With better cameras and many new features, these phones aim to offer one of the best experiences available in 2025 smartphones.
