During its Q3 2025 earnings call, Samsung mentioned that the upcoming S26 phones will focus heavily on AI-powered features, use a custom-built chipset, and bring better camera sensors for improved photography.

According to leaks shared by a reliable Telegram insider named “Alchimist Leaks”, the top-end model, Galaxy S26 Ultra, could come with a massive 6.9-inch Quad HD OLED display that uses Samsung’s latest M14 panel technology. The display might also introduce a new AI-based privacy mode, which would make it harder for others to peek at your screen from the sides.

When it comes to cameras, Samsung seems to be putting in serious effort. The S26 Ultra is said to feature a 200-megapixel main camera, paired with a 50-megapixel telephoto lens that supports 5× optical zoom. It may also include a fourth rear sensor, which could either be a 12-megapixel 3× zoom lens or another 50-megapixel telephoto camera, depending on the model.

For the smaller variants — Galaxy S26 and S26+ — the leaks suggest they will have 6.3-inch and 6.7-inch Quad HD OLED screens respectively, both using the same M14 display tech. These models might come with a triple-camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor (with a size between 1/1.3″ and 1/1.56″), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 12-megapixel 3× telephoto lens.

Powering the phones will likely be a mix of Samsung’s Exynos 2600 and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processors. As seen in earlier models, Samsung will reportedly continue its dual-chip approach, where the chipset used will depend on the region. Interestingly, even the S26 Ultra might have an Exynos variant for some markets.

In terms of battery, Samsung appears to be slightly increasing capacities across the lineup. The S26 Ultra might come with a 5,400 mAh battery, the S26+ could get around 4,900 mAh, while the standard S26 may include a 4,300 mAh cell.

One surprising detail from the leaks is that Samsung may skip the “Edge” variant this year. Instead, the company could introduce a new slim model positioned between the regular and Plus versions. This phone is rumoured to offer a 6.6-inch Quad HD M14 OLED screen, a triple 50-megapixel camera setup, an Exynos 2600 chip, and a 4,300 mAh battery.
