The ball flew in the air, and it seemed like Pakistan's wicketkeeper Sidra Nawaz would catch it. But another fielder from the backward point area also went for the catch. They bumped into each other, and the ball slipped from Nawaz’s gloves. Luckily, no one got hurt. This mistake allowed Richa to continue batting. The video of this moment quickly spread on social media.
India's innings was tough because the pitch was slow. Harleen Deol played well, scoring 46 runs calmly and helping the team in the middle of the game. The team’s start was fast as opener Pratika Rawal scored 31 runs and hit several fours.
But star player Smriti Mandhana was out early, which put pressure on the team. Pakistan’s bowler Diana Baig was very good, taking 4 wickets and ending with 69 runs. She bowled well and stopped India’s batters from scoring easily.
After some wickets fell, the Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 19 runs but got out after hitting the ball inside the edge. Richa Ghosh came to the crease late and played very fast. She scored 35 runs from 20 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes. This quick scoring helped India reach a total of 247 runs in 50 overs, which was good for the match.

Pakistan’s bowlers, including Fatima Sana who took 2 wickets for 38 runs, put strong pressure on the Indian batters. There was also a break in the game because of bug issues at the stadium. Before the match started, India’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur did not shake hands with Pakistan’s captain Fatima Sana, continuing a recent trend between the two teams.
India’s team worked hard and showed skill to score a good total despite the slow pitch and early losses. In reply, Pakistan could not score many runs because India’s bowlers were very effective. India won the match by 88 runs, showing clear dominance over Pakistan in Women's ODIs.
